Anakin Skywalker returns in an amazing cosplay that depicts his fatal descent into the dark side in
Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. Hayden Christen reprised the role in Obi-Wan Kenobi but only appeared briefly as the dark side version of Anakin from Revenge of the Sith specifically. Star Wars has had plenty of great Anakin Skywalker stories since the prequel trilogy, namely through animation in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, but there hasn't been much of Anakin in live-action. This makes it very satisfying when artists take it upon themselves to bring Star Wars' original Jedi-turned-Sith to life in great detail.
Actor, model, and cosplayer Jake Fogg - who also hosts Comics Cosplay & Cinema on YouTube - shared his incredible Anakin Skywalker cosplay on Instagram in honor of May the Fourth.
It appears to depict the moment when Anakin Force choked Padmé out of anger, this time with a haunting lava-rich backdrop that adds greater contrast to the image. This cosplay looks great and highlights Anakin's point of no return in Revenge of the Sith, with a few comments joking that it may have been better for May the Fourth's follow-up day, Revenge of the Fifth.
