We Now Know What Happened To Oliver Queen After His Death & Spectre Change*

Warning: The following contains SPOILERS for The Flash season 9, episode 9, "It's My Party and I'll Die If I Want To."The final fate of Oliver Queen and what happened to him after his death and transformation into The Spectre in Arrow was revealed in The Flash season 9. Death itself was not enough to stop Green Arrow from doing all he could to save the DC Multiverse. However, the final episodes of Crisis on Infinite Earths and the Arrow series finale were surprisingly vague about whether Oliver Queen survived the final battle to save reality.
Oliver Queen died a hero's death in the first chapter of the Crisis on Infinite Earths event, sacrificing himself to buy more time to evacuate Earth-38. This noble act enabled him to become the new host of the angel of vengeance known as The Spectre. In this capacity, Oliver Queen joined the battle against the Anti-Monitor and seemingly sacrificed himself again to create a new multiverse. While Oliver Queen's soul was revealed to have traveled on to the afterlife in the series finale of Arrow, it was unclear if he continued to serve as The Spectre after Crisis on Infinite Earths ended.
