Picard Season 3’s Ultimate Star Trek Villain Team-Up Explained*

Warning: SPOILERS for Star Trek: Picard Season 3, Episode 9 - "Vox."Admiral Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) faces a nightmare scenario in Star Trek: Picard season 3, as two of Starfleet's greatest enemies have teamed up, spelling disaster for the future of the United Federation of Planets. Picard season 3, episode 9, "Vox", confirmed what had already been suspected - that the Changelings have been working with another alien species to achieve their terrifying vision for the Frontier Day celebrations. That enemy is the Borg Queen (Alice Krige), who has been using Changeling infiltrators to set the stage for the wholesale assimilation of the entire Starfleet armada.
It's often been speculated if the Borg and the Dominion had ever encountered one another and now Star Trek: Picard has given the answer. The two species came into contact with each other at some point after both the Dominion War and the crippling attack on the Borg Collective by Admiral Janeway (Kathryn Janeway). As for what brought these two classic Star Trek villains together, the answers lie in the corpse of Admiral Jean-Luc Picard, stolen from Daystrom Station, and Picard's son, Jack Crusher (Ed Speelers), whose mysterious powers are key to the Borg and Changeling plan. Here's everything that Star Trek: Picard has revealed so far about the alliance between the Borg Collective and the Changelings.
