Upcoming Star Wars Shows In 2023: Story, Casts & Everything We Know*

The Star Wars Disney+ release slate is jam-packed for 2023, as many TV shows are set to debut or return for their latest seasons. The last few years have seen Star Wars evolve into a trailblazing transmedia franchise, mostly thanks to the success of Disney+. Lucasfilm's most popular project, The Mandalorian, was essentially Disney+'s flagship - and remains a hit.
2023 has already become one of the most exciting years to date, with releases of Star Wars: The Bad Batch season 2 and The Mandalorian season 3. The Mandalorian era has now become the launchpad for a shared universe of Disney+ TV shows building up to an event movie, by George Lucas' protege Dave Filoni himself. But these are only two of the phenomenal releases due out this year; the future remains bright for Star Wars on Disney+.
