Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 2 has been released, and its full of adventure, fun, and danger, alongside blink-and-you'll-miss-it moments. Along with revealing the first footage of live-action Ensigns Bradward Boimler (Jack Quaid) and Beckett Mariner (Tawny Newsome) from Star Trek: Lower Decks, the trailer offers the first glimpse of Carol Kane as Chief Engineer Pelia and a portentous speech by Lieutenant James T Kirk (Paul Wesley) about facing death. The speech has added meaning because Pike previously came to terms with his own fate in the season 1 finale of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, inspiring him to take a professional interest in the young Kirk.
