New Guardians of the Galaxy 3 Trailer Reveals Brutal Rocket Scene*

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3"s new trailer showcased more exciting footage of the MCU"s cosmic protectors, but it also included one brutal scene featuring Bradley Cooper"s Rocket Racoon.
Vol. 3"s official synopsis already teased Rocket"s dire fate, confirming that Peter Quill and his crew of ragtag misfits will look to save him in a dangerous new mission that could end the Guardians as fans know it. 
This tease has fans worried that Rocket will ultimately die in Vol. 3, especially after director James Gunn confirmed that a major character would bite the bullet.

Will Rocket Racoon Die in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3?The latest Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 trailer is jam-packed with interesting tidbits.
Although the teaser trailer showcased an adorable look at Baby Rocket, the second batch of new footage revealed an expanded look at Rocket Racoon"s origin. 
The brutal scene of Rocket inside the operating room suggests that fans will have a closer look at how the High Evolutionary experimented on him that led to his current form. 
James Gunn already shared that Rocket is the driving force of Vol. 3, with the director confirming that the character is the franchise"s secret protagonist. 
Rocket"s importance may hint that the threequel is his final rodeo, potentially leading to the disbandment of the Guardians, as the synopsis suggested. 
Killing Rocket would be a devastating blow for the team, but Vol. 3 could raise the stakes by eliminating another team member, such as Drax due to Dave Bautista"s latest comments about his MCU retirement.
