MCU Fantastic Four"s The Thing Rumored Casting Details Revealed*

Casting rumors have emerged about the Marvel Cinematic Universe's take on The Thing in the Fantastic Four reboot. Marvel's First Family are on their way to the MCU after years of fans wanting to see them join the Avengers-based universe. After getting the film rights back, Marvel Studios are actively working on their Fantastic Four reboot. The four heroes are currently set to make their on-screen debut in Phase 6 as the first installment of the final chapter of the Multiverse Saga. Matt Shakman is helming the reboot, which is starting the casting search for the iconic heroes.
While no one has been tapped yet, a direction for one of the heroes has seemingly been revealed. According to The Hot Mic Podcast's Jeff Sneider, he has been hearing that they were looking to cast a person of color as The Thing. However, he says the current rumor is that the Fantastic Four casting department is looking to have the MCU's Ben Grimm be played by a Jewish actor.
This comes after it was reported that Marvel Studios would start with Sue Storm and then cast the others around her. Neither Marvel Studios nor Shakman have yet to comment on either rumor.
