Picard’s TNG Okona Easter Egg Updates Star Trek Prodigy*

Warning: SPOILERS for Star Trek: Picard Season 3, Episode 5 - "Imposters"An Easter egg referencing Captain Thadiun Okona (Billy Campbell) in Star Trek: Picard season 3, episode 5, "Imposters" updates his story following his recent appearance in Star Trek: Prodigy season 1. Okona made a memorable appearance in Star Trek: The Next Generation season 2, episode 4, "The Outrageous Okona", in which the USS Enterprise-D mediated a dispute between two feuding worlds, both of whom wanted Okona taken into their custody for his perceived crimes. However, it turned out that Okona's intentions were honorable, and he was only assisting two star-crossed lovers, who wished to be married and settled down away from their respective planets' feud.
Most recently, Okona aided the crew of the USS Protostar in escaping from Admiral Kathryn Janeway (Kate Mulgrew) in Star Trek: Prodigy season 1, episode 14, "Crossroads". After the Protostar crew attracted the attention of Romulan Tal Shiar operatives, Okona made a swift getaway. It's clear from an Easter egg in Star Trek: Picard season 3, episode 5, "Imposters" that Okona is still evading capture, and continues to live a criminal lifestyle.
