7 Differences Between Red Death"s Timeline and The Flash"s Earth-Prime*

Warning: The following contains SPOILERS for The Flash season 9, episode 4, "Mask of the Red Death, Part 1."There are many differences between the timeline that spawned the Red Death and the Arrowverse Earth-Prime setting of The Flash season 9. Most of these details were outlined in a candid conversation between Iris West-Allen and the Red Death, as she tried to win the reporter over. While it is uncertain how much of this information is reliable, given the Red Death's willingness to try and deceive Iris West into believing she was the Ryan Wilder of her world, most of it makes sense given what we know of her character.
The Flash villain Red Death was first introduced into the DC Comics Universe in the 2017 Dark Nights: Metal mini-series, presented as the Batman of a corrupted alternate universe where Bruce Wayne stole the powers of Barry Allen in order to better protect his Earth. The Flash season 9 changed this up, with the Arrowverse version of the Red Death being a twisted variant of Batwoman Ryan Wilder from another timeline. The Flash season 9 episode "Mask of the Red Death, Part 1" detailed the history of this version of Red Death, explaining her unexpected connections to both The Flash and Iris West-Allen of her world.
