The MCU Can Easily Introduce A Major Cosmic Team Sooner Than You Think*

The MCU has a unique opportunity to easily introduce another major cosmic team from the comics. The franchise saw the first significant expansion into the stars with Guardians of the Galaxy, and since then, It's steadily encompassed more as it relates to the Infinity Stones. Now that it’s the Multiverse Saga, the focus has shifted. Yet, 2023 is actually a relatively cosmic era for Phase 5 and the MCU with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, The Marvels, and Secret Invasion to some extent. Beyond that, a Nova series is reportedly in the works and could likely be on the slate for Phase 6.
The MCU has a lot on its plate now within the main narrative of the Multiverse Saga, such as Kang’s fate in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and how that opens up possibilities for the franchise. Nevertheless, they are still preparing themselves to jump into hyperspace for all sorts of cosmic adventures. There’s so much more to explore, so many more characters to introduce. Throughout Phase 4, with the introduction of characters like Monica Rambeau, the Eternals, and Eternity, they’ve subtly paved the way for more powerful and intriguing cosmic team-ups.
