Dwayne Johnson Breaks Silence On Henry Cavill"s Superman Exit*

Dwayne Johnson finally comments on Henry Cavill's exit as Superman from the DC movie franchise, following the actor's return for the Black Adam post-credits scene. Cavill reprised the role of Clark Kent aka Superman in Black Adam for the first time since 2017's Justice League, though he also appeared in Zack Snyder's Justice League that released in 2021. However, less than three months after Black Adam hit theaters and Cavill confirmed his return as Superman, the actor announced his exit from the franchise.
On the Oscars red carpet, Johnson was asked about Cavill's Superman exit. The Black Adam star hadn't previously commented on Cavill's departure, and in an interview with Variety, Johnson breaks his silence on Superman being recast in the upcoming DC Universe.

And a new owner comes in and says, 'not my coach, not my quarterback. I'm gonna go with somebody new.'
