Maguire"s Spider-Man Stance Makes Another Raimi Movie More Likely*

Tobey Maguire expressed interest in reprising his role in a potential Spider-Man 4 once again, making another movie in the Sam Raimi series even more likely. With the Sam Raimi Spider-Man universe (Earth-96283) now part of the broader MCU, bringing back Sony’s original cinematic Spider-Man iteration would be a certain crowd-pleaser. Sam Raimi had specific plans for a Spider-Man 4, but the Raimi universe’s spinoff material and Marvel’s MC2 comics provide even more exciting ideas for the next chapter in Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man story.
